Description
The TOEFL test serves as a measurement of one’s ability to communicate in English in colleges and universities. Accepted by more than 6,000 institutions in more than 130 countries, it is the most widely accepted English-language test in the world.
TOEFL is used by North American universities and also in Australia, Britain and Europe to measure the English level of students from non-English speaking countries who wish to enter undergraduate programmes. It measures the student’s English language proficiency in reading, listening and writing.
It is a computer-based examamination and there is also a paper-and-pencil version of the TOEFL test.
Available in both computer-based and pencil-and-paper test formats, the TOEFL is equivalent to the British IELTS (International English Language Testing System) examination.
Who Should Study the TOEFL Programmes:
- Those who wish to pursue further education, live or work in an English-speaking country
- Students who wish to seek admission into colleges and universities in an English-speaking country
- Those who wish to migrate to an English-speaking country
